Emma Twigg came to our school

  W.A.L.T: Today is one of my best days ever! Because Emma Twigg came to my school. We lind up and walked into the hall  before she came we praktis are song. When she came the kapa haka boys did the haka  and we did the national anthem and then Emma Twigg talked to us about winning her gold medal she even past her medal arand.  Mis Danes are principal gave her a certificate because she worked hard to earn her medal. After that she came to my class and we took some photos with her  and she let us hold her medel and she gave us her autograph .    have you ever had a celebrity came to your school?                      here is some photos.

Emma Twigg, serial olympian, advanced to the semi finals with a convincing win in the Quarter finals last Sunday in Tokyo.

This is Emma’s fourth olympics and her fourth time advancing to the Semi finals. In Rio she placed fourth by less than a second and she has returned reinvigorated by the culture in the NZ team and she says ‘it’s an honour wearing the Silver Fern’. She also has had expert coaching tips from her nephew who said she needs to train harder. After this advice she pushed herself to row over 26 km daily which she told him from Tokyo.

She is a single sculler and has been a world champion in the last 10 years.

 

 

Emma Twigg rows a boat in the Olympics against some other people. She rows for NZL It stands for New Zealand. She has done the olympics 4 times she has made it to the semifinals she come

4th then less then a second.

                            Winter sport circus

For winter sport I chows circus and how started of was we  did  some warm ups we did kart wells , roly polys and mummy walks. After that my legs were so sore. After that  we went and did some tricks with are bedays i paired with laylah we did really hard tricks after we went straight to the hula hoop and did tricks on it it was the flying hoop we did peter pan and the mermaid we also did the bridy it was so much fun. Then we did naromal hula hoops we did tricks with that as wall.

I can not wait till next friday✌

Healthy food and Occasional food

W.A.L.T: Read labels on food packets.

 My group and I went in Quinn D mums car and she gave us a mint!

When we got to the supermarket  we listened to the instructions from Brittany, who works at the supermarket. After that we went inside the shop and looked at the food labels to see the amounts of sugar, fat, energy, sodium and fibre per 100g. 

Do you know what foods are healthy to eat?

At the end of our trip, Brittany gave us a voucher for a shared lunch.

Athurs pass summary

 My favourite thing was the river crossing because we had to link arms and we went in our clothes. It was very refreshing. We also went with a parent. It was so much fun.  One thing I didn't like was the walks. Because they were a little hard to do only because of the steps!!!!
