 Emma Advances - By Room 1

Emma Twigg, serial olympian, advanced to the semi finals with a convincing win in the Quarter finals last Sunday in Tokyo.


This is Emma’s fourth olympics and her fourth time advancing to the Semi finals. In Rio she placed fourth by less than a second and she has returned reinvigorated by the culture in the NZ team and she says ‘it’s an honour wearing the Silver Fern’. She also has had expert coaching tips from her nephew who said she needs to train harder. After this advice she pushed herself to row over 26 km daily which she told him from Tokyo.


She is a single sculler and has been a world champion in the last 10 years.

 

 

Emma Twigg rows a boat in the Olympics against some other people. She rows for NZL It stands for New Zealand. She has done the olympics 4 times she has made it to the semifinals she come

4th then less then a second.

  1. Kia ora Eva, Mr Gray here. I love that you have found lots of information on Emma. We had a great time following her at the start of the term. It might help to re-read your writing slowly and carefully to make sure it makes sense before you post it. Maybe get a buddy to check it for you. Were there any other events that stood out for you?
